Books

The books are about Human Rights, Good Governance, written from the heart appeal of the people for security, prosperity and happiness of all the people of the world. The primary message of the books is to inform Bhutan about the unkind matter in question about its citizens for justice, and also to make the world aware about it. The book has few pages about my life's journey to inform how I have lived life after eviction from Bhutan. The book 'Janarav Fira'd', 'Justice to Justice: Bhutan', and 'Journey to Bhutan for Justice' focus Bhutanese refugee issue where the victimized people are appealing for justice from the king of Bhutan. The books also aims to refresh psychological human behaviors of rulers and the people about religion, social unity of different communities, and their life for peaceful coexistence.

All the people living in Bhutan are aborigines.

History is witness, ancestors of Nepali clans are indigenous to the Himalaya region; they are not immigrants from elsewhere. Nepali-Lhotshampa or inhabitants of Southern Bhutan basically speak Nepali language, they have similar cultural and social way of life with the people of Nepal and India but almost all of them do not know their ancestry in Nepal nor do they desire to emigrate from Bhutan. There are very few who have relatives in Nepal and India but most of them have lived in Southern Bhutan since centuries. Irrespective of which group came first and which came later, it is important to note Nepali were the first to open Southern Bhutan to clear the virgin forest for agricultural use. History of the world tells Nepali race were since centuries living in Southern Bhutan and in the adjoining states of India. And those living in Bhutan are Bhutanese citizens like other communities living in Northern parts of Bhutan. The absurd laws and steps taken by Bhutan, if applied to all countries, would entail readjustment of the populations of all the countries around the globe. For example, the settlers in America, Africa, and Australia would return to countries of their origin in Europe and Asia. Similarly, if applied to our region, lakhs of Bhutias from Nepal and India would have to go to Bhutan, Lepchas to Sikkim, Tamils from Sri-Lanka to India, Nepali to Nepal, Ngalungs to Tibet and this way all have to move evolving incalculable problems in the world. The insanity crimes of such magnitude of Ethnic Cleansing committed by Bhutan should not go unobserved; the guilty in Bhutan should be brought to justice. The books appeals.

Bhutanese Refugee

Bhutanese refugee issue should be addressed by Bhutan as soon as possible, now. India as Bhutan's caring neighbor is also requested to persuade Bhutan to solve this issue for it will not be good for Bhutan unless all the communities of Bhutan are treated equally. The evicted Bhutanese who since decades are appealing the king of Bhutan should be reassured and made happy giving them justice.

I am writing these words with my trust and confidence in Your Majesty and with utmost loyalty as a responsible citizen of the country and love for my country Bhutan, and for the well-being of Your Majesty to guide and lead our people and glorify our dear Bhutan.

It is the duty of all the intellectuals, academicians and general people of Bhutan in the process to keep well-informed to Your Majesty and the Government about the thoughtful relates of the nation, to heed Government, to keep mind and judgment open, so as to resist the insidious spell of bad omen. I believe if the apprehension and cognizance of Your Majesty is open enough to perceive that a given policy is harming the people and the nation rather than serving self-interest, and self-confident enough to acknowledge it, and wise enough to reverse it that is a summit in the art of good governance.

I have both devotion and conviction in the overall guiding responsibility of Your Majesty will govern our nation as reasonably as possible in the interest of the citizens first and the nation.

भुटानको राजदरबार वा उसकाे सरकाले गरेका ‘मानवजाति प्रतिकूल’ दुष्र्कीतिहरु ढाक्छोप् गर्नकोलागि कुटनीतिक व्यक्तिहरु तथा कृतध्न पात्रहरुले लेखेको इतिहास सत्य हुदैंनन् । यस्ता तथ्यहीन् झुटाे इतिहासले भुटानकाे मान् मयार्दा, गरिमा र छविलाई धमिल्याउने छ अनि विश्व जनसमुदायलाई भुटान बारे गलत सन्देश दिनेछ । विश्वका इतिहासविद्हरु तथा भुटानको इतिहास लेख्नेहरुले भुटानमा भएका हाम्रा पुर्खाहरुका समाधिहरुको उमेरको इतिहास पनि लेख्न नभुल्नुहोला । सबै तह र क्षेत्रका लेखकहरुले सत्यलाई नढाकीकन भुटानमा घटिरहेका विषयहरुलाई गम्भीर रुपमा ध्यान दिएर लेख्नु पर्नेछ । इतिहास सत्य र सबैलाई समेटिएको हुनुपर्छ । जनरव फिराद नामक किताबमा थोरै भएता पनि सत्यमा आधारित इतिहास लेखिएको छ । यहाँ मैले यथासम्भव भुटानीहरुको सत्य इतिहास लेखिरहेको छु ।

देशविहिन भएदेखि असङ्ख्य पीड़ा सहेर जीवन विताएको धेरै भयो । देश फर्कन सकेको छैन । मेरो इमान्दारिता, स्वच्छता र देशभक्ति जतिनै उच्च भएपनि मैले देशबाट न्याय पाउने अवस्था छैन, राजाकाे सरकारले जे चाहान्छ त्यही मात्र न्यायिक ठहरिन्छ । म एक साधारण नागरिक हुँ कमजोर छु सरकारसगं लड्नसक्ने शक्ति मसगं छैन । देशको न्यायलय, कानुन, प्रजातंन्त्र र मानव-अधिकारको परिधिभित्र भरोसा गरी निष्फिक्री सभा र आवाज उठाउन भुटानीहरु सुरक्षित् छैनन् । जनतालाई न्यायदिन भनी प्रचलन्मा ल्याइएका न्यायपालिका, प्रजातंन्त्र र मानव-अधिकारका सस्थांहरु स्वतंन्त्र छैनन् । देशबाट लखेटिएको दिनदेखि बहु-डायस्पोरिक परिस्थितिहरुमा आफ्नो पहिचानसगं जिउने प्रयासमा छु । विद्यमान विषयलाई मुल्यगत महत्वको आधारमा समेट्ने गरी यो बृत्तान्त लेखिरहेको छु । भुटानीहरु विभिन्न देशहरुमा छन् । जहाँ भएपनि देशको मान्-सम्मान, पहिचान् र आदर्शहरु भुटानको माटो र पुर्खादेवसँगको आत्मीय सम्बन्धको इतिहास जातिको अस्तित्व जीवनमा प्राण रहुंन्जेल बिर्सने छैनन् भन्ने विश्वास छ ।

Recent Event

Various events social, political, refugee issues and people are voicing for justice to live in peace are taking place in and around the world. The world people are seriously concern about humanity is crushed by oppressive rulers. The Bhutanese refugee issue is still not addressed by Bhutan, the Government of Bhutan is not concerned about sufferings of ts own citizens. The slogan "Gross National Happiness" of the king is trying to divert the attention of the world from the inhuman crimes and pains committed against the minority citizens. To discuss these issues of Bhutan intellectuals meet was held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 09 August 2024. A message with positive gesticulation has been sent to Bhutan and to the International Community to initiate the discussion and resolve the problems.

We live in a time when the call for liberty, equality, human rights and democracy echoes across the globe. The world today is in a position to provide a blissful life free of poverty for its whole population. Our power over forces of nature, and the development of science and engineering have reached such a level that it has become feasible to satisfy all the material and spiritual needs of the people on Earth. But what do we see around in reality? Nature’s most wonderful creation, man, endowed with the most varied creative talents, is not only deprived of the chance of developing them in a considerable part of the world but is crushed and strangled, incarcerated by exploitation and social injustice, is dying of hunger and disease and choking in the misery of refugee camps helpless, homeless where poverty, sickness, death and sorrow dominate the mundane existence.

Concurrently while articulating simply the predominant behavior of man on this earth, Bhutan, the landlocked country located on the southern slopes of the Himalayas, bordered by the Tibet Autonomous Region of The Peoples’ Republic of China to the north and India to the east, west and south is struggling to protect its image from being tarnished in the world due to its detrimental policies targeted against its citizens where 1/6^th of the total population of Bhutan from its southern districts specially minority Nepali ethnicity were evicted in 1990s and made destitute refugees.

Your Majesty, The King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangcuck, The King of Bhutan, Tashichodzong, Thimphu Bhutan.

I recently wrote a letter in English and posted it, I wrote it unknowingly, I didn’t know if you read it or not. I didn’t get any answer. I am a small person, you are the king of the country. I am on the ground, I live in a refugee bush, I go everywhere in search of food and friends. I could have lived in America, many other Bhutanese could have changed the country, but I could not.

I am walking around India and Nepal near Bhutan. After death a king and a beggar lies together in the grave. Thus, 2 feet wide and 6 feet long land required for this body may be kept in my Belbotey village so that our mortal remains would manure my village. The last journey of my life will be there.

After death kings and beggars rest together in the grave. Let’s talk there. But, perhaps it is not appropriate for you to reply to my letter. Perhaps you thought why should the king answer a soldier’s letter in front of the world? But as I am, I am aware of the country and people, I can tell you something, I have gathered so much knowledge and experience and I am making a request, I can write a letter. But even as a king, you look like a tyrant, which makes me feel pain. Your Majesty must be kind, humble, justice lover and not a oppressor.

श्री ५ महाराज, जिग्मी सिगें वाङचुक, जिग्मी गेसार नामगेल वाङचुक, टासिछोजोङ, थिम्पु भुटान ।

मैले भर्खरै अंग्रेजीमा एउटा चिट्ठी लेखेर पोष्ट गरेको थिएँ, जानी नजानी लेखें हजुरले पढनु भयो कि भएन मलाई थाहा भएन । मैले कुनै जवाब पाईन । म त सानो मान्छे, हजुर त देशको राजा होइबक्सिन्छ । म त जमीनमा छु, शरणार्थी झुप्रोमा बस्छु, खान लाउन र साथी सगींहरुको खोजीमा जताभावी जान्छु । म अमेरिकामा जीवन बिताउन सक्थे, अन्य धेरै भुटानीहरू देश बदल्न सके, तर मैले सकिन ।

भुटानकाे नजीक भारत र नेपाल वरपर हिडिरहेकाे छु । याे शरीरलाई २ फिट चाैडा र ६ फिट लम्बाई जमीन अन्तिममा बास गर्न मलाई पनि मेराे बेलबाेटे गाउँमा राखिदिनुहाेला । मेराे जीनवनकाे अन्तिम यात्रा त्यहीं नै हाेस् भनी साेचेकाे छु । मरेपछि राजा हाेस या रङकं स्वर्गमा एकै ठाउमा हुन्छन् रे त्यहीं कुरा गराैंला ।

तर हजुरलाई सायद मेरो चिट्ठीको जवाब दिन सुहाएन होला । सायद हजुरलाई लाग्यो होला दुनियाँको अघि राजाले किन एउटा सिपाहीको पत्रको जवाब दिनु ? तर म जस्तो भएपनि देश र जनताको बारेमा सचेत छु, तपाँईलाई केही भन्न सक्छु, यति ज्ञान र अनुभव बटुलेको छु र नै केही निवेदन गरिरहेको हुँ, चिट्ठी लेख्न सक्छु । तर राजा भएर पनि तपाँई त तानाशाह जस्तो देखिनु हुन्छ जसले गर्दा मलाई पीडा बोध हुन्छ । महाराज दयालु, नम्र, न्याय प्रेमी हुनु पर्छ, अत्याचारी होइन।
